Neither Candidate Holds Advantage on the Economy

Among registered voters, neither Obama nor Romney holds a clear advantage on the economy. Roughly half (52%) say they have a great deal (22%) or a fair amount (30%) of confidence in Obama to do the right thing when it comes to fixing the economy. Similarly, 49% of voters say they have at least a fair amount of confidence in Romney.
