President Obama outpaces Romney on nearly all traits, including the candidate who takes consistent positions on issues and has good judgment in a crisis. On issues, Obama also leads as the candidate who would do the best job on Medicare, abortion and dealing with problems in the Middle East. Romney and Obama fare about evenly as the candidate that would do the best job improving the job situation and reducing the federal budget deficit.
